4. Go to the class website and look up websites under the social studies section that will help you in your research of your chosen Native Tribe. Begin copying and pasting information into a word document. Do not forgret to copy the website address for your bibliography. You will receive assignment information eg: rubric, outline on Monday.
5. Students participating in the essay contest should start to choose a person of interest and form an argument.

Students have just completed a math test and science test in the last 2 days. We have just begun a new social studies unit about Native Canadians and all language homework was completed in class.

As of next Monday students will be assigned an indendent study project about "What it Means to Be Gifted". As a parent or student you can visit http://www.prufrock.com/ and look at all of the available resurces to support gifted students, teachers and parents of gifted students. It is an invaluable resource.
